Royal Mu Surround

McDSP is pleased to announce the new Royal Mu Surround APB plug-in for NAMM 2025. The Royal Mu Surround is a dual-control compressor and limiter configured for a variety of surround formats, including Dolby Atmos. Features include analog biasing and saturation, equalization, and a full featured analog compressor and analog limiter. The Royal Mu offers independent (or linked) control of the two compressor and limiter chains, a 3-way buss matrix, key trim, and analog trim (post compressor pre limiter).

The Royal Mu Surround and all other APB plug-ins, along with the rest of the McDSP product line, will be available to hear in-person at McDSP’s NAMM Booth #14714.

Moo X Mixer Expanded

The Moo X mixer can now operate up to 48 mono or stereo channels. All EQ, compression and saturation controls remain the same, but users can expand the Moo X hybrid mixer capacity to a much larger mix.

APB Surround Support Coming to AU and VST3

APB Surround support is coming to AU and VST3 plug-in formats. APB users will be able to apply the surround capabilities of the new Royal Mu Surround and L-18 Surround APB plug-in in their favorite AU or VST3 compatible DAW.
