System Requirements
McDSP APB plug-ins are compatible with Pro Tools, Logic X, Cubase, Nuendo, Ableton Live, LUNA. Other DAWs that support the AAX, AU, and/or VST3 plug-in formats will be qualified soon.
McDSP APB plug-ins support Mac OS 10.13.x (High Sierra), 10.14.x (Mojave), 10.15.x (Catalina), 11.x (Big Sur), 12.x (Monterey), 13.x (Ventura), and 14.x (Sonoma). Mac OS version 10.12.x (Sierra) may work, but is not officially supported. Earlier Mac OS versions are not officially supported.
McDSP APB plug-ins run natively on Intel and Apple silicon processors. McDSP strongly recommends only running APB plug-ins natively.
McDSP APB plug-ins require an iLok2 or iLok3 USB Smart Key, or an iLok License Manager account and an iLok Cloud session for authorization.
McDSP APB plug-ins are not compatible with Windows, nor do they support the VENUE S6L systems.
The APB-16 requires word clock connectivity from your audio interface. Refer to the Setup and Installation section for details on how to connect the APB unit to your system.
